Software Engineer, Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services. This fully remote position lets you collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance solutions in a distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate micro‑platforms that are scalable, performant, and reliable.
• Implement and optimise backend services using modern development practices.
• Partner with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, Java, or comparable.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
