Solution Architect

About the role

The Solution Architect will provide hands‑on architecture leadership, guidance and mentoring to architecture and engineering teams. Acting as a thought‑leader, you will collaborate across functions to deliver high‑quality, robust and scalable solutions for large‑user‑base web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical direction for development teams and resolve architectural disagreements with informed solutions.
• Build early prototypes of product components, validate design and performance.
• Translate business objectives into technical strategies, introducing innovative technologies.
• Partner with product, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders to define and evolve system architecture.
• Implement standards, reference architectures and technology selections, and manage architecture artefacts.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on software development and delivery of medium to large scale projects.
• 5+ years in an architect role on large‑scale software initiatives.
• Strong understanding of scalable web applications, micro‑services, and backend RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing solutions on Amazon Web Services and working knowledge of Azure.
