Solution Engineering Intern – Presales & IIoT Projects

About the role

Join Octopus Digital as a Solution Engineering Intern and support presales, proposal development, and technical solution activities for Industrial IoT and automation projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, engage with customers on site, and gain hands‑on experience delivering industrial technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain standard proposals using approved templates.
• Assist in client handovers, change requests, and daily customer communications.
• Gather technical, commercial, and compliance documents from internal departments for presales activities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Projects, Procurement, and other teams for invoices, documentation, and follow‑ups.
• Participate in technical evaluations, site surveys, machine connectivity assessments, and solution discussions with customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering with exposure to IoT/IIoT or Industrial Automation.
• Final‑year projects related to IIoT, industrial automation, or smart manufacturing are acceptable for fresh graduates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for continuous interaction with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer meetings, site surveys, and technical evaluations.
• Prior plant or site experience is preferred.
