Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

Typhoon Solar Energy is expanding its commercial and industrial solar portfolio across Pakistan and seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to blend technical expertise with consultative selling. You will drive new business, support project execution, and ensure client satisfaction from proposal through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and manage commercial and industrial solar leads, guiding opportunities from initial contact to contract signing.
• Conduct on‑site technical assessments, read civil/structural drawings, and develop system layouts, preliminary designs, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, cost estimates, ROI/payback analyses, and technical specifications to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to meet project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, troubleshooting, and commissioning assistance.
• Travel to client sites nationwide as needed.

Required profile

• Background in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent technical diploma.
• Minimum 3 years experience in solar sales or EPC projects.
• Proven ability to perform site surveys and interpret civil/structural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV components, grid‑interconnection basics, and local permitting processes.
• Experience preparing commercial proposals, financial models, ROI and payback calculations.
• Excellent English and Urdu communication skills.
