Vice President – Oracle Banking Payments Management

About the role

The Vice President will lead the deployment and ongoing management of Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) across the bank, acting as a bridge between business and technology during a core banking transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic vision for digital and core banking modernization.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including requirements gathering, SIT/UAT, cutovers, data migration and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with business leaders, IT teams, vendors and external partners, providing executive reporting.
• Provide deep technical expertise on OBPM (v14.x+), core banking APIs, data integration and channel delivery.
• Ensure compliance with banking standards, security policies and regulatory frameworks such as IFRS.
• Conduct gap‑analysis workshops and design remediation strategies.
• Oversee production support, observability tooling and continuous platform stability.
• Guide digital channel delivery, API integration patterns and data engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in core banking and OBPM design, development, implementation and support.
• Proven track record in large, multi‑country banking transformation programs.
• Strong techno‑functional payments expertise and experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT and host‑to‑host integrations.
