Videographer – Creative Production

About the role

Big Film Entertainment is looking for a skilled Videographer to join its on‑site creative production team in Lahore. You will capture high‑quality video for commercials, branded content and short films, working closely with directors, producers and post‑production specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot and capture video footage on location and in‑studio using professional cinema and DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
• Interpret storyboards and shot lists, proposing camera angles, movements and lighting approaches.
• Set up and manage on‑set technical equipment, including lenses, stabilization rigs, monitors and media storage.
• Operate lighting and grip equipment in coordination with gaffers and grips.
• Assist with pre‑production tasks such as location scouting and equipment planning.
• Log footage, label media, maintain equipment checklists and ensure reliable data backup.
• Collaborate with producers, directors and post‑production teams to meet creative and delivery deadlines.
• Travel to shoot locations and work flexible, physically demanding hours as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating cinema and mirrorless/DSLR cameras (e.g., Arri, RED, Sony, Canon, Blackmagic).
• Strong understanding of exposure, composition, framing, focus pulling and camera movement.
• Practical knowledge of lighting setups for interviews, product shoots and narrative scenes.
• Experience with stabilization systems such as gimbals, dollies, tripods and shoulder rigs.
• Familiarity with professional codecs, media formats, on‑set transcoding and backup workflows.
• Basic post‑production competencies (color grading, LUTs) and ability to collaborate with editors.
• Organizational skills for logging footage and maintaining equipment inventories.
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating commercial and narrative work.
