Visiting Faculty (Part‑time/Contract)

About the role

The University seeks qualified academics to join as Visiting Faculty on a part‑time or contractual basis. The position involves delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in the candidate’s area of engineering or technology expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and laboratory sessions.
• Develop course materials, syllabi and learning outcomes.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams and projects.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Maintain high academic standards and uphold the university’s inclusive policies.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred, Master’s acceptable) in engineering, technology or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated university‑level teaching experience.
• Strong research background or professional practice with evidence of publications or projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered teaching and equal‑opportunity values.
• Ability to collaborate with academic and administrative staff and manage contractual teaching duties on‑site.
