About the role

The Gulf Edge Consulting organization is seeking a Volunteer Editor-in-Chief to lead its editorial team focused on logistics, supply chain and procurement content. This part‑time, remote role involves shaping strategy, overseeing workflow and ensuring high‑quality publications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement editorial strategy for logistics, supply chain and procurement topics.
• Manage the full editorial workflow, from commissioning to publication, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Lead a team of three editorial staff, providing guidance and development support.
• Coordinate with design and production teams for digital and print materials.
• Maintain an editorial calendar balancing news and feature pieces.
• Uphold editorial neutrality and ethical standards.
• Analyze audience engagement data to refine content strategy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in editorial leadership, preferably in logistics, supply chain or procurement domains.
• Strong ability to manage teams and editorial processes.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
