WordPress Developer – Build & Customize Enterprise Sites

About the role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins for enterprise and agency clients. You will work within a small technical team, delivering clean, secure, production‑ready code while ensuring responsive design and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using hooks, filters, and the WP REST API.
• Implement Gutenberg blocks and integrate page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
• Optimize site performance through caching, image optimization, critical CSS, and asset bundling.
• Maintain code quality with Git workflows, branching strategies, and deployment pipelines.
• Document handover procedures and communicate technical details to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
• Proficiency in PHP (object‑oriented), modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with headless WordPress setups, RESTful APIs, and third‑party integrations.
• Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross‑browser debugging.
