Accounting Manager – Remote

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the finance function for Quality Feeds, a manufacturing company in the agricultural sector. Working remotely, you will oversee all accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of four accounting professionals.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Implement internal controls and SOPs to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies with operational departments.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP or Oracle Financials) for transaction processing and reporting.
• Support external audit processes and resolve audit queries.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication with procurement, operations, and sales.

• Proven experience in managing full‑cycle accounting in a manufacturing environment.
