Accounts & HR Manager

About the role

Hampson & Son (H&S) Logiq is seeking an Accounts & HR Manager in Lahore to oversee the organization's financial and human resource functions. The role leads and mentors a team of five people and covers bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance and HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle financial accounting and bookkeeping, and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee payroll management and ensure compliance with wage and tax regulations at federal, state and local levels.
• Customize reports and optimize processes within QuickBooks Online and ERP financial systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, cash-flow forecasts and profitability reports.
• Supervise a team in accounting and HR, providing guidance and training.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and maintain employee records using HRIS systems.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely invoice processing and approval workflows.
• Handle bank reconciliation, cash application and automated transaction matching.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensure accurate month-end close and record-to-report workflow.
• Ensure full tax and statutory compliance, including tax return preparation and filing, and facilitate audit preparation and documentation.
• Monitor trade banking activities such as letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Implement financial controls, resolve discrepancies promptly and communicate effectively in English with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in accounting and HR.
• Strong written and spoken English to liaise with stakeholders.
