Accounts Intern (Leading to Full-Time Job)

About the role

Mohsyn is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join its Accounts & Finance team in Islamabad. The intern maintains accurate financial records, records day-to-day transactions and keeps the books of accounts organised and up to date. This is a full-time internship leading to a job offer, aimed at giving fresh graduates and final-year students practical accounting experience.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, invoices and expenses.
• Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts using accounting software.
• Organise financial documents, invoices, vouchers and supporting records.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and verification of financial entries.
• Support the Accounts team with basic financial reports and monthly closing activities.
• Identify discrepancies in records and coordinate with the team for corrections.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn accounting software and ERP systems.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Odoo, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Responsible, dependable and comfortable working with financial records.
