Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the finance team of a fast‑growing e‑commerce company. The role supports the organization’s monetary operations, ensuring accurate processing of expenses and compliance with reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational accounting activities, including categorizing and handling company credit‑card transactions using tools such as Zip and Navan Expense.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect required receipts and supporting documentation.
• Support year‑end 1099 reporting by compiling payment data, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with filings.
• Assist with external audit requirements related to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Work on ad‑hoc and one‑off projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of month‑end close processes and US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations with minimal guidance.
