Accounts Payable Intern

About the role

Afiniti is seeking an Accounts Payable Intern to join its Finance team in Pakistan. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in the procure‑to‑pay cycle, supporting daily invoice processing, approvals, and month‑end activities within a global AI‑driven organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming invoice emails and track their status to ensure timely processing.
• Verify that all invoice details and supporting documents are complete before posting.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve invoice‑related queries.
• Upload and organize invoices and supporting documentation in the ERP/DMS system.
• Assist with month‑end closing tasks and maintain accurate accounts payable records.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and organized with a strong willingness to learn financial processes.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment.
