Accounting Trainee (3‑Month Paid Program)

About the role

Join Contour’s 3‑month paid Accounting Trainee program in Karachi. You will work closely with senior accountants, learn standard accounting processes, and gain hands‑on experience with industry‑specific software. High performance may lead to a full‑time position.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks in line with International Accounting Standards.
• Record income and expense transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Execute daily bank reconciliations using Microsoft Great Plains or Dynamics 365.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist in posting journal entries for revenue, expenses, and accruals.
• Complete ad‑hoc project tasks and compile data from the BPC reporting tool.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices, queries, and follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Energetic, independent and detail‑oriented.
• Recent graduate or final‑year student interested in accounting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving software environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains.
• Experience or familiarity with Dynamics 365.
• Basic proficiency with BPC corporate reporting tool.
