AI Solution Architect – Agentic AI

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of multi‑agent, agentic workflow systems. You will shape the orchestration layer, memory design, and tool‑use permissions that keep autonomous AI systems reliable and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Design multi‑agent architectures, defining agent roles, coordination patterns, and handoff logic using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
• Own end‑to‑end agentic workflow design, including task decomposition, tool‑calling, and memory/state management with vector and graph‑based knowledge graphs.
• Define guardrails, kill switches, and escalation paths to ensure safe agent operation.
• Architect evaluation frameworks in partnership with AI Assurance/QA teams.
• Lead technical design reviews before solutions move to build.
• Design fallback and human‑in‑the‑loop patterns for high‑stakes decisions.
• Mentor GenAI engineers on architecture patterns and review their designs.
• Present risk/benefit trade‑offs to technical and business stakeholders.
• Govern architecture standards across the practice and facilitate cross‑team reviews with Security, Governance, and Platform Engineering.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of software/AI architecture experience, with at least 2 years focused on agentic or multi‑agent systems.
• Deep knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks and their failure modes (loops, deadlocks, drift).
• Experience evaluating and architecting solutions on managed platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI Foundry Agent Service, AWS Bedrock Agents/Strands Agents, and Google Vertex AI Agent Builder, as well as open‑source orchestration tools.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, state machines, and event‑driven architecture.
• Proven ability to design memory architectures (vector + graph‑based) for long‑running agents.
• Familiarity with agent evaluation methodologies, benchmarking, and guardrail/governance tooling.
• Excellent communication skills to defend architectural decisions and produce clear ADRs and documentation.
• Experience mentoring and leading technical teams, and taking accountability for production failures.
