AI Solution Architect

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking an AI Solution Architect who can design end‑to‑end AI‑native solutions, from agentic workflow white‑boarding to model selection and integration. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to turn ambiguous problems into reliable, production‑grade AI architectures that serve iconic North American customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AI‑first solutions, establishing architectural standards for LLMs, agents, and AI skills.
• Architect and oversee AI harnesses that orchestrate multi‑step reasoning, tool use, memory, and retrieval.
• Design and build MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors to extend AI agents into enterprise data sources and third‑party services.
• Evaluate and select foundation models, fine‑tuning strategies, and inference configurations.
• Define reusable patterns for prompt engineering, context management, guardrails, and evaluation.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate blueprints into maintainable code and infrastructure.
• Engage executives and business stakeholders, communicating AI design decisions in plain language.
• Support pre‑sales AI engagements, shaping proposals and demonstrating technical credibility.
• Lead internal AI initiatives such as AI Ignite and help define the company’s AI‑native strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software or solutions architecture experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience building AI/ML systems in production.
• Proven track record designing or working with AI harnesses and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with MCP connectors or equivalent plugin integration patterns.
• Deep familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open‑weight models).
