About the role
Hamdard Pakistan is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its FMCG sales operations in Karachi. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and increase market share within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Karachi market.
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of five sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to inform tactics.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales campaigns with promotions and launches.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts and performance analyses to senior management.
- Plan sales routes and schedules to optimise territory coverage and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for the sales team.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Karachi market.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Results‑driven with a focus on achieving targets.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
