Assistant Manager Geo Marketing

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Geo Marketing to support planning and analysis of network coverage across the region. The role will involve managing geo‑marketing data, creating and updating maps, and providing insights that drive commercial growth and network optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational activities for Geo Marketing, including database upkeep and creation/updating of grid, cluster and franchise maps.
• Conduct performance analysis of network rollout projects to assess commercial impact, coverage effectiveness and growth opportunities.
• Monitor network availability across technologies, identify future site requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Plan coverage expansion by pinpointing gaps, addressable population clusters and target market opportunities.
• Coordinate with regional engineering and Geo Marketing HQ for capacity planning, data sharing and analytical support.
• Collaborate with sales teams and FTTH field agents to ensure smooth onboarding and operational alignment.
• Track rollout plans, prepare management reports and status updates.
• Analyse cell site revenue performance and recommend profitability enhancements.
• Engage with sales on operational requirements, handle network‑related complaints and perform KPI analysis.
• Monitor newly rolled‑out sites for health, revenue growth and operational issues.
• Execute monthly channel rationalisation and maintain tagging for sites, franchises, grids and commercial zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; Business Management or Engineering/GIS preferred.
• 3‑4 years of experience in Geo Marketing, planning or analysis, preferably within telecom.
• Strong understanding of mobile network technologies and business intelligence concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS tools such as ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS and Google Earth.
• Experience in geospatial analysis and mapping.
• Knowledge of telecom network technologies.
• Ability to utilise business intelligence for data‑driven insights.
• Project management skills.
