Solution Architect – Orchestration

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Solution Architect – Orchestration to join its Core Commerce & Orchestration unit in the MEA region. The role bridges pre‑sales and delivery, designing end‑to‑end orchestration solutions that enable 5G scaling, network slicing, AI‑driven automation and autonomous network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead value‑based solution positioning and proposal development for strategic transformation programs.
• Act as design authority for major engagements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Ericsson architectural principles.
• Own the technical architecture across the Orchestration domain, focusing on Ericsson Service Orchestration and Automation (ESOA).
• Design end‑to‑end orchestration solutions for RAN, Core and Transport domains, including network slicing, QoS/QoE services, traffic steering and policy‑based automation.
• Contribute reusable assets such as service templates, orchestration patterns and integration blueprints.
• Share knowledge within internal communities and promote a culture of reuse and continuous learning.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the telecom/OSS domain with hands‑on design (HLD/LLD) and customer‑facing experience.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale transformation projects and act as a technical authority.

Required skills

• Service orchestration platforms (ESOA or similar)
• Catalog‑driven architectures (service/resource modeling)
• Inventory systems and order management concepts (SOM/COM)
• Assurance concepts (PM/FM, event correlation, AIOps basics)
• Industry standards: TM Forum, 3GPP, O‑RAN SMO
• Knowledge of 5G Core, 5G RAN, microservices and cloud‑native architectures
