Assistant Manager – Maintenance & HVAC (Food Processing)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager – Maintenance & HVAC to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant equipment and HVAC systems in a food‑processing environment. The role is full‑time, on‑site and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and service chillers, air handling units, compressors, ventilation and related equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and HVAC faults.
• Coordinate repairs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain accurate logs, checklists and maintenance records in a CMMS.
• Support basic plumbing and utility maintenance tasks.
• Respond to service requests from production and office areas to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in HVAC and facility maintenance, preferably in an industrial or food‑processing setting.
• B.E. / B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Strong customer‑service orientation for internal stakeholders.
