Building Maintenance Supervisor – Facilities Management

About the role

Our client, FaisalTown Group, is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for its facilities in Rawalpindi. The role involves hands‑on preventive maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of two maintenance personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, lighting, mechanical systems and building infrastructure.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and repair of electrical distribution boards, wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, sockets and power panels.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, sewerage, pumps and sanitary fittings.
• Oversee operation and servicing of HVAC units (split ACs, package units, ventilation and exhaust systems) to maintain indoor air quality.
• Manage diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, water pumps, motors and other mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted power and mechanical efficiency.
• Carry out basic civil maintenance tasks such as masonry repairs, painting, tiling, waterproofing and carpentry.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical testing instruments and maintenance tools to diagnose issues, measure performance and document activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in building maintenance and facilities management.
• Proven ability to lead a small maintenance team and coordinate daily tasks.
• Strong focus on safety, quality standards and accurate documentation.
• Practical, solution‑oriented approach to prevent equipment downtime.
