Business Analyst – FP&A

About the role

The Business Analyst will join the FP&A team to support month‑end closing, financial reporting and strategic analysis. This role works closely with the Senior Manager FP&A and cross‑functional partners to ensure accurate financial data and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in month‑end financial closing, ensuring the General Ledger is reconciled and supported.
• Submit monthly financial information to Regional Finance according to the reporting timetable.
• Perform in‑depth analysis of financial data, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather accurate financial information.
• Support the preparation of the Annual Plan and quarterly Rolling Latest Best Estimates (RLBE).
• Prepare monthly management commentary and related analysis.
• Create structured reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development.
• Analyze capital expenditure and project expense variances.
• Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc financial analysis.

Required profile

• MBA in Finance or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Pharma or FMCG.
• Strong analytical, data‑gathering and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
