About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to expand our client base and generate sustainable revenue in the chemical sector. The role focuses on selling chemical actives across personal care, home care, and pesticide segments, combining technical expertise with market development.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in targeted market segments.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets aligned with company growth plans.
  • Promote chemical actives through technical discussions and solution‑based selling.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand formulation requirements, application challenges, and commercial expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with formulators, procurement teams, and key decision‑makers.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry needs.

Required profile

  • 2‑3 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within the chemical industry.
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferred) or BBA/MBA with relevant chemical sales experience.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and expand customer portfolios.
  • Strong technical understanding of chemical actives and their applications.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
