Director of Product Management

About the role

The Director of Product Management leads the definition, governance and execution of the organisation’s product strategy across its digital portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, this role translates business goals, customer insights and market opportunities into prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, multi‑year strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
• Assess market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and monetisation models.
• Own portfolio‑level prioritisation, investment criteria, trade‑offs and product lifecycle governance from discovery to scale.
• Establish lightweight stage‑gate processes and ensure product artefacts such as business cases, requirements and launch plans are complete and auditable.
• Build and run structured customer discovery and feedback programmes, validating assumptions through interviews, analytics and pilots.
• Manage dependencies across product lines, platforms and delivery teams, and make decisions on investment, remediation or retirement.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Customer Success, Operations and Support to translate pain points into product improvements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in product management within a digital or technology‑focused organisation.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of translating business objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align cross‑functional teams around common goals.
• Experience governing end‑to‑end product lifecycles and driving measurable business outcomes.
