ELV Engineer (Extra Low Voltage Systems Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated ELV Engineer to lead the design, deployment, commissioning and after‑sales support of CCTV surveillance, access control and IT infrastructure projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from site surveys to client training and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, prepare BOQs, technical proposals and network architecture designs.
• Create detailed drawings, schematics, rack elevations and topology diagrams.
• Install, configure, test and commission IP cameras, NVR/DVR, VMS, access control devices, switches, routers, firewalls and server/storage solutions.
• Supervise field technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards and timelines.
• Perform system integration, FAT/SAT testing, and handover documentation including as‑built drawings and user manuals.
• Provide post‑installation support, preventive maintenance, warranty handling and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and internal teams, and support procurement technical evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with ELV systems, especially IP CCTV and access control.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, fiber optics and server/storage concepts.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and deliver client training.

• IP CCTV surveillance systems and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Access control hardware (controllers, readers, turnstiles, barrier gates).
• Network design – VLANs, IP scheme planning, routing basics, fiber optic connectivity.
• Switches, routers, firewalls configuration.
• Server and storage solution deployment.
• Hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• System integration and commissioning procedures.
