GTS Specialist

About the role

The GTS Specialist will serve as the primary IT support professional for Avery Dennison sites, ensuring that all endpoint devices and related infrastructure operate smoothly. This role combines hands‑on technical assistance with continuous improvement of IT processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, thin clients) throughout their lifecycle, including provisioning, refresh, asset management and decommissioning.
• Provide on‑site “smart‑hand” support on a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Follow ITIL processes for change, incident and problem management and execute SOX controls.
• Take ownership of tickets, diagnose issues, troubleshoot and see resolutions through to completion.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software and licenses in the Asset Management Tool.
• Install, upgrade and replace hardware and software according to company standards.
• Collaborate with service vendors, internal IT teams and business units to ensure continuity of service.
• Assist in implementing best practices and deliver training on company software and systems.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Relevant IT courses or certifications (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology is preferred.

• SOX compliance awareness.
