Fashion Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Fashion Designer to develop innovative apparel designs that align with market trends and customer preferences. You will be responsible for turning concepts into production‑ready designs, coordinating sample development, and supporting the product development process from idea to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends, fashion forecasts, colors, fabrics, and consumer preferences.
• Develop creative design concepts and seasonal collections.
• Create sketches, illustrations, mood boards, and technical drawings.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and product specifications for sample and production development.
• Select fabrics, trims, prints, and other materials suitable for each design.
• Coordinate with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
• Review and evaluate samples, providing necessary revisions and approvals.
• Ensure designs meet quality, fit, cost, and brand requirements.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and product records.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging fashion innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in fashion design or apparel development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, patterns, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent creativity, sketching, and visualization abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
