Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead SLGTrax's finance function from our Karachi office, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting strategic decision‑making. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior leadership and works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage the general ledger, oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with other departments on financial matters.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or equivalent accounting certification.
• Proven experience in a controller or senior finance role, preferably in logistics, supply‑chain or technology‑driven environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and high integrity.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.
