Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead tax compliance, advisory and audit activities for foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, ensuring adherence to Pakistani tax regulations and supporting the business with tax‑efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, statements and statutory submissions.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and support implementation across the business.
• Provide tax advice on commercial initiatives, contracts, new products and business transactions.
• Lead tax audits, assessments, notices and litigation with tax authorities.
• Identify tax risks and implement mitigation measures to minimise regulatory and financial exposure.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 7–10 years of taxation experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or a multinational organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan's direct and indirect tax laws.
• Experience in tax compliance, advisory, audits and litigation.
• Experience in e‑commerce, online marketplace or technology sector is preferred.
