Grid Manager

About the role

The Grid Manager is responsible for driving key performance indicators across sales, revenue, business development and network utilization within a designated geographic grid. This role oversees mobile broadband, channel expansion and trade visibility to maximize market penetration and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue growth for 3G/4G services and handset sales by establishing new smartphone shops and enhancing existing retailer performance.
• Ensure quality of gross additions for 3G/4G and monitor channel expansion activities such as SIM selling, mobile load, value‑added services, number portability, mobile broadband, ECATs and postpaid contracts.
• Coordinate timely purchase orders with franchise partners to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Manage end‑to‑end customer complaint handling, CSI monitoring, quality assurance and overall customer experience at franchise locations.
• Drive trade marketing initiatives including brand visibility, BTL activities, trade promotions, market splash events and channel awareness.
• Identify untapped territories, guide Business Development Officers in route planning and prepare regular sales forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards, mini‑load and recharge.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, conduct market visits, ensure stock availability and enforce SOPs, targets and promotional guidelines.
• Oversee merchandising by ensuring point‑of‑sale material is available at outlets and collaborate with marketing for special events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development or telecom channel management.
