Manager NOC Transport Inventory Management

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking a Manager to lead its NOC Back Office functions, ensuring uninterrupted network operations, data accuracy and performance visibility across all transport domains. The role combines system monitoring, configuration management and cross‑functional coordination to maintain optimal network availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all routine and special NOC Back Office activities to guarantee network stability.
• Monitor performance across Core, Transmission and IP domains, identifying and resolving issues early.
• Maintain real‑time visibility of network complaints, alarms and performance indicators for management reporting.
• Drive proactive analysis, improvement planning and project execution to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance and optimal network availability.

Required profile

• BSc Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom or IT (or equivalent technical honors).
• Deep understanding of Optical Transport Networks and related transmission technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, design principles and transport topology.

Required skills

• DWDM, OTN, PTN, SDH technologies.
• IPRAN network protocols and routing configurations.
• Transport protocols such as MPLS‑TP and GMPLS.
• Hardware management and network inventory expertise.
• Network configuration, change management and deployment skills.
