Healthcare Finance Manager (Remote)

About the role

Our client, Riphah International University, is seeking a remote Healthcare Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of MaxHealth Hospital. The role provides strategic financial leadership, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to hospital management.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and analyse variances against targets.
• Provide financial forecasts to support strategic expansion and equipment procurement.
• Monitor patient billing systems, takaful claims and corporate panel accounts to minimise revenue leakage.
• Review and approve consultant, vendor and payroll payments, and assess contract feasibility.
• Analyse departmental and service costs (pharmacy, lab, OT) for margin evaluation.

Required profile

• CA (Inter), ACMA, ACCA, CPA or MBA in Finance from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 5–8 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of income tax, federal and provincial sales tax (PRA, ICT) and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
