Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Lahore. You will work closely with our front‑office team in Toronto and support a portfolio of small and medium‑size North‑American businesses, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational services to assigned clients.
• Support client onboarding and manage data collection (invoices, receipts, bank statements).
• Record financial transactions and post appropriate journal entries.
• Perform timely account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Prepare adjusting entries as directed by the managing accountant.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with North‑American colleagues and other business lines as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related field with strong academic performance.
• Prior experience using accounting software (preferred).
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English (tested).
