Assistant Manager – US Mortgage Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a US‑based home finance process. The role requires strong knowledge of mortgage operations, leadership abilities, and a focus on productivity, quality, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operations of the mortgage/home finance process.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team to meet productivity, quality, and service‑level targets.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.
• Ensure accurate handling of loan documentation in line with SOPs and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and US clients to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and share regular performance reports with management.
• Identify process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in US mortgage, home finance, banking or related BPO operations.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong understanding of US mortgage processes and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and US business hours/night shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
