About the role
The Junior Production Engineer will support safe and efficient shift operations at the Cornwala plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Post shift production and dispatch data in SAP and manage manpower for smooth shift operations.
- Achieve shift‑wise production targets for quality and quantity, control product losses, and prepare shift performance reports.
- Monitor lab results, coordinate with the shift chemist on non‑conformances, and ensure proper material supply.
- Check performance of process equipment, oversee maintenance, and maintain housekeeping.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support safety training and EHS compliance.
Required profile
- B.Sc/B.E in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Good manufacturing literacy and knowledge of GMP/HACCP procedures.
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
Required skills
- SAP for production reporting.
- Instrumentation and DCS/SLC operation.
- GMP and HACCP compliance.
- Safety and EHS procedures.
