Technical Associate – Electrical Engineering

About the role

The Technical Associate supports live substation tenders by analysing customer specifications, compiling technical and commercial bid packages, and coordinating inputs from engineering, civil works and project management. This role helps ensure Siemens Energy’s proposals are accurate, competitive and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing complete technical and commercial bid documents for substation projects.
• Review tender specifications to identify key requirements, deviations and clarification points.
• Organise and track tender clarifications, deadlines and submission schedules.
• Maintain the central tender database and archive proposal templates and historical data.
• Prepare technical data sheets, compliance matrices and standard documentation packages.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to gather technical inputs and support cost estimation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline (completed or final year).
• Internship or academic project experience in the power sector, substations or industrial engineering is advantageous.
• Foundational knowledge to read and interpret tender specifications.
• Strong analytical ability and effective written and verbal communication.
