About the role

Mergestack is seeking a Junior UpWork Bidder to join its Business Development team in Lahore. The role focuses on creating compelling proposals, securing new projects on Upwork and similar platforms, and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tailored proposals for Upwork, demonstrating insight into client needs and project specifics.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities with strategic bids and persuasive communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to Upwork policies and keep a professional profile.
• Analyze project requirements, conduct market and competitor research, and devise competitive pricing strategies.
• Engage with clients, showcase the company portfolio, and convert prospects into signed agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience securing projects on Upwork or Freelancer.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate project needs and market trends.
• Proficient negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
