Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Computing (Higher Education)

About the role

The University of Bolton – Greater Manchester, Islamabad is seeking qualified Faculty Members to teach Computing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This position offers the chance to contribute to a vibrant academic community and engage with industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures, seminars and workshops for Computing programmes.
• Develop and update course materials in line with current academic and industry trends.
• Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish academic work.
• Participate in conferences, workshops and professional development activities.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and professional growth.
• Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum planning and accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with industry stakeholders to keep curricula relevant and organise guest lectures and career‑oriented events.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Computing from a reputable institution (foreign qualifications preferred).
• 2–4 years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Industry experience in Computing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence and research.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and technologies.
