Junior Lecturer – Software Engineering & Cyber Security

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Junior Lecturer to teach courses in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Security, or Computer Science. The role involves delivering high‑quality lectures, designing up‑to‑date course materials, and supporting student development within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions in the assigned subjects according to the curriculum.
• Develop, update, and align syllabi, assignments, and assessments with industry standards.
• Provide academic advising, hold office hours, and give constructive feedback to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and curriculum improvement initiatives.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conference attendance.
• Collaborate with industry partners to integrate practical perspectives into teaching.
• Evaluate and grade student work fairly and transparently.
• Maintain accurate academic records and prepare required reports.

Required profile

• MS degree in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field from an HEC‑recognized institute.
• Minimum of one year of relevant teaching or industry experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Commitment to academic integrity, university policies, and continuous professional development.
