Mechanical Maintenance Manager

About the role

Olympia Chemical is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Manager in Khushab. The Deputy Manager Mechanical Maintenance applies advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering to keep plant reliability and safety standards, using computerized maintenance systems and Quality Management System protocols. The role calls for independence, innovation and strong leadership of a small maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of five maintenance professionals, giving them guidance, training and support.
• Plan, coordinate and run preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to keep plant running.
• Use condition monitoring software and computerized maintenance management systems to schedule work, track equipment history and analyse machinery data.
• Apply Quality Management System standards to maintenance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance during plant shutdowns with minimal downtime.
• Carry out risk assessments and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, and monitor performance indicators to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Develop and control the maintenance budget and recruit, develop and retain maintenance staff.
• Propose and apply new maintenance techniques and technologies, and stay up to date with industry trends.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering.
