Network Security Engineer – Fortinet Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise‑wide security solutions. The role focuses on Fortinet technologies and requires a strong grasp of best‑practice network security principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Implement and manage FortiSASE solutions for secure remote access and cloud security.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiClient EMS, SSL VPN and IPSec VPN, and endpoint security policies.
• Design, deploy, and monitor SD‑WAN architectures, traffic steering, and application optimization.
• Monitor security events, analyze logs, and respond to incidents using SIEM and other monitoring platforms.
• Implement security policies including NAT, routing, IPS, antivirus, web filtering, application control, and SSL inspection.
• Conduct firewall rule reviews, security audits, and compliance assessments.
• Manage site‑to‑site and remote‑access VPNs across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot network and security issues in LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure high availability and security of the network infrastructure.
• Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and security reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network security.
• Relevant Fortinet certifications (NSE 4/5/6/7, Fortinet Certified Professional, Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist) preferred.
• Additional certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CISSP are a plus.
