Nurse Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our expert network as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Working remotely on an hourly contract, you will evaluate and improve AI‑generated nursing content, ensuring clinical accuracy, safety, and clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers for a wide range of nursing topics, including assessment, triage, patient education, and documentation.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses, rank them, and provide written feedback to enhance model performance.
• Identify and flag unsafe or inaccurate guidance, bias, and inconsistencies in AI outputs.
• Fact‑check clinical information and write high‑quality explanations that demonstrate correct reasoning.

Required profile

• RN (or equivalent nursing qualification) with active licensure or eligibility in at least one jurisdiction.
• 3–5+ years of professional nursing experience in clinical or community settings.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including vital‑sign interpretation, red‑flag recognition, and safe handoff procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and able to work across time zones in a remote contractor workflow.
