Odoo Functional Consultant

About the role

An ERP team is looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant. The consultant works with clients, business stakeholders and technical teams to turn business requirements into effective Odoo configurations, ensuring successful implementations and continuous system improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Hold requirement-gathering sessions with clients and analyse business processes, mapping them to Odoo functionalities.
• Configure and implement Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM and HR.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents and workflow diagrams.
• Run user acceptance testing, identify functional issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Deliver end-user training and provide functional support.
• Work with technical teams on customisations, integrations and enhancements.
• Manage project tasks, timelines and stakeholder communications, and give ongoing support to live systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding of business processes across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, sales and human resources.
• Practical experience implementing and configuring at least 10 Odoo modules, preferably covering the full implementation lifecycle.
• Preferred: experience managing several Odoo projects at once, working in dynamic client environments and handling stakeholder coordination.

Required skills

• Hands-on expertise across at least 10 Odoo modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business process mapping skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and client-facing skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases is an advantage; Odoo certification is preferred.
