Outbound Business Development Representative

About the role

TimeClock Plus (TCP) is hiring a results-driven outbound Business Development Representative to join a growing team and help generate new pipeline. The BDR makes the first point of contact with target prospect accounts in their territory to acquire new customers, working from the office in Lahore, Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out daily to target prospects in the territory by phone, email and LinkedIn
• Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach and use content to spark conversations
• Follow up consistently with prospects through a regular cadence of calls and emails
• Identify prospects' needs and challenges and educate them on TCP's product portfolio
• Qualify prospects using BANT (budget, authority, need, timeframe)
• Schedule discovery calls or meetings for sales representatives
• Hand off qualified leads to Account Executives via Salesforce
• Research companies against the ideal customer profile and update Salesforce with accurate account and contact details

Required profile

• Excellent phone, writing and listening skills
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and strategic thinking
• Good problem-solving, organization and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude despite rejection
• Skilled in negotiation and persuasion; patient and polite on the phone
• Experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams is a plus

Required skills

• Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot and/or Marketo is helpful but not required
• Experience with ZoomInfo is a plus
