PhD Peer Reviewer – Pulmonology (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in pulmonology or a related field to join our remote peer‑review team. This long‑term, part‑time position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by evaluating manuscripts for originality, methodological rigor, and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results, conclusions, and ethical compliance.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in pulmonology or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑review‑ready publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
