About the role
AJ Agritek, which transforms Pakistani agriculture through solar solutions such as solarised agricultural tubewells, is hiring an engineer with a background in Mechatronics (or related fields) to support its solar installation projects. The role covers material procurement planning, technical sales support, basic AutoCAD design and daily system data management.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities and Materials (BOQ/BOM) and coordinate orders with equipment suppliers
- Perform system sizing and prepare technical proposals and quotations for clients
- Enter project records, orders and inventory data into the internal management system
- Maintain costing sheets, purchase trackers and reports using MS Excel
- Create basic solar layouts and schematics using AutoCAD
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or a related engineering field
- Fresh to 1-2 years of experience; candidates with prior experience in solar systems are preferred
Required skills
- Strong command of MS Excel and the MS Office suite
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drawings and layouts)
