Operations Manager - Manufacturing

About the role

Haier is looking for an Operations Manager - Manufacturing in Lahore. The role oversees and manages production operations in a large-scale manufacturing environment, leading a team of five professionals and driving key performance indicators. It requires strong analytical skills, operational reporting tools and knowledge of lean manufacturing and ISO quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual business plans and departmental OPEX and CAPEX budgets in coordination with all factory departments.
• Establish, monitor and control KPIs, PUI and UPMH performance to achieve operational targets.
• Plan, monitor and control daily production operations, allocating manpower efficiently across shifts.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, PMC, Quality, Warehouse and HSE departments to keep operations smooth and uninterrupted.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, downtime and wastage, resolve bottlenecks quickly and control operational costs.
• Investigate operational failures, carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly operational MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, audit requirements and ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• Implement 5S and Lean Manufacturing on the shop floor and train, guide and support supervisors and operators.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in production KPI monitoring and adherence to lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in operational MIS reporting.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and manage budgets and unit production metrics.
