Postdoctoral Fellow (PRISMA)

About the role

The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to lead the development, writing, and submission of peer‑reviewed scientific manuscripts arising from epidemiological and clinical studies. You will work closely with investigators and research teams to transform data into high‑quality publications for international journals.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead the preparation, writing, editing, and submission of peer‑reviewed scientific manuscripts.
• Conduct statistical analyses and interpret epidemiological and clinical research findings for publication.
• Collaborate with investigators to develop publication plans and manuscript concepts.
• Create tables, figures, literature reviews, and scientific interpretations required for manuscripts.
• Coordinate manuscript revisions and respond to journal reviewers and editors.
• Deliver 3–5 high‑quality peer‑reviewed manuscripts annually.
• Perform literature surveys and retrieve relevant data using various research techniques.

Required profile

• Formal training in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Research, Maternal and Child Health, Infectious Diseases, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or related quantitative population health disciplines.
• Strong publication record with multiple first‑author peer‑reviewed manuscripts.
• Ability to independently lead scientific writing projects with minimal supervision.
