Ultrasound Specialist (Part‑time, 12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our clinical team on a part‑time, 12‑month contract. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, interpret the images, and produce clear reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Conduct ultrasound examinations on a variety of patients.
• Generate high‑quality images and interpret findings.
• Prepare detailed reports for referring physicians.
• Address patient concerns before, during, and after scans, providing reassurance and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of all scans and images.
• Refer patients to other specialists or facilities when needed.
• Provide training on ultrasound equipment to other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified sonographer or equivalent experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Strong communication skills and ability to calm anxious patients.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate with physicians and consultants.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
